First American Corporation Helps
Families with Low Incomes become Homeowners!

First American Check

The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF), the nation's largest data provider, and five San Francisco Bay Area Habitat for Humanity affiliates, represented by Peninsula Habitat for Humanity, announced a new partnership in October 2004. First American donated $100,000 to support construction of new Habitat houses in Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Daly City and Oakley, Calif. This is a comprehensive effort as part of its Emerging Markets Initiative to increase homeownership opportunities for minority and low to moderate income families.

First American's effort is also part of an Peninsula Habitat's extensive MAKE it REAL campaign to build 22 new homes with support from the real estate industry.
