Outreach and Advocate

Spread the word and be part of the Peninsula Habitat community:

Host a House Party
It's easy and fun to raise awareness and funds for Peninsula Habitat for Humanity. Invite between 10 and 30 guests to your home and distribute information and request donations. Neighbors, family, friends of parents, and parents of friends are good people to ask! Every donation amount counts, so even younger people can donate $5 from their allowance.

Host an Event
Host an event at your church/school/community center. Is there a talent in your group or greater community? Host a concert or other event at your church. This is a great chance for families to join together to raise awareness about issues of affordable housing in their community.

Host a Community Art Project
Host a community art project to raise awareness for affordable housing. Work together with your school, church or community center to create a permanent display of art. Ceramic tile mosaics, mural designs or other art installations on a public wall or in a park space are just a few ideas.

Help Out Our Office Staff
Help out at Special Events like a Dedication or Fundraiser -- check our Volunteer Opportunities for current events.
