Here's how. Serve Lunch A full day of construction is tough work, and a good meal is just the encouragement a volunteer needs to really succeed! Join together with your class or youth group to provide a well earned meal for our regular and day volunteers. Groups should provide a hearty meal for 20-70 volunteers and deliver it to the construction site during the event. Please contact Don Varney in the office of Volunteer Services to schedule your lunch. Coffee Hosts Welcome volunteers to the construction site by providing fresh brewed coffee. Our hard-working and appreciative volunteers will enjoy seeing your bright and shining faces in the morning! Fresh fruit and other refreshments are an extra special treat for our workers. Holiday Gifts Go shopping or collect toys and other gifts for children of Peninsula Habitat families for the Peninsula Habitat Family Holiday Party. Create Gift Baskets Create gift baskets for new Peninsula Habitat homeowners that contain useful homeowner items such as energy saving light bulbs, tools and other household items. Stock a Fridge Stock a fridge or cupboard at a newly dedicated Peninsula Habitat home. Donate Subscriptions Donate magazines or other subscriptions such as cable, phone or internet service. Donate Calling Cards Donate prepaid calling cards that will help our Peninsula Habitat families stay in touch with relatives who live in other countries.
